Loch Faskally is the loch in Pitlochry which was created by the damming of the River Tummel in the 1950s. There are a number of walks in the area of the loch including the longer loop taking in Loch Dunmore, the Garry Bridge, Killiecrankie and the Linn of Tummel.
The Pitlochry Boating station is located on Loch Faskally and it is possible to rent a number of different kinds of boats for short trips out on the loch. Fishing equipment is also available for hire. The Boating Station also has an excellent little cafe – a good spot to stop for a coffee after a walk around the loch.
